PEBA Committees
PEBA is a volunteer-driven organization that looks to its volunteers to drive the mission of the organization. To help achieve PEBA's goals, PEBA has created a number of committees that plan, design and deliver the programs and services for our members. Below you'll find a link to a detailed description of each.
Serving on a committee can provide you with opportunities for personal growth and professional networking. And, if you'd like to have a role in shaping PEBA's future, working on a committee is a great way to make a contribution.
You can apply at any time of the year. All applications are reviewed as PEBA seeks to balance the committees by areas of professional expertise, employers and providers, and additional skills related to the committees' work.
For those of you with PHRs, SPHRs, and GPHRs, did you know that serving on the Board of Directors or as the chair or member of a PEBA committee can earn you HRCI recertification credits? A committee member is eligible for three credits per year for as many as three years. These designations require 60 credits over three years for re-certification.
Those of you who have earned CCPs, CBPs, or GRPs through WorldatWork can also apply your years of PEBA volunteer service toward the 12 credits you need for re certification.
