Committee Objective: To develop, distribute, and analyze industry and membership surveys to enhance the knowledge of our members and customers, as well as enhancing the reputation of PEBA as a source of good information in compensation and benefits practices.

• Evaluate existing data base of member companies to be surveyed.
• Determine topics and establish project timeline.
• Determine methodology, including cost.
• Assess feasibility of partnering with other organizations to gain cost efficiencies and enhance reputation.
• Develop and test survey questions.
• Evaluate results

Customers:

PEBA members, General HR community, Benefits, and Compensation community

The committee will meet approximately 4 times per year to develop topics, confirm details, and evaluate progress. Each committee member is expected to work on at least one survey a year. Independent work is required. Actual time per month can vary.

• Be knowledgeable of member company interests and survey data needs.
• Have some prior experience in writing and conducting valid surveys or desire to learn.
• Possess strong writing and analytical skills.
• Be willing to present findings in various ways to various publics.
