Committee Objective: To develop an ongoing program that enables one-on-one exchanges between  PEBA members and  industry experts to address  specific needs or questions.

• Develop one or more mechanisms to allow PEBA members the opportunity to ask industry experts for general guidance.
• Make self  available to answer questions on a defined or ad hoc basis.
• Make clear that the answers/guidance provided are general in nature and not a recommendation or legal advice.
• Provide feedback and insight to other PEBA committees, especially Program and Communication, to  enable them develop current topics from questions received.
• Note – Promotion of individual or company services is not permitted.

Customers: PEBA members

The committee will meet semi-annually via meeting, e-mail or  conference calls. It is expected that each committee member would commit about one hour a month to answer e-mail messages with questions in his/her specific area of expertise.

Committee members should possess expertise in any discipline of employee benefits or compensation. They should have solid knowledge of industry resources and the professional knowledge to be able to easily refer PEBA members to other sources. Strong communication and interpersonal skills important.
