Program Details:
The world
of executive compensation continues to change dramatically as disclosure of
executive pay becomes more transparent in SEC filings,
as well as a hot topic among political candidates. Join us for a panel
discussion on the lessons that we continue to learn, two proxy seasons after the
final disclosure rules took effect. The panel will consist of
different players in corporate executive compensation
disclosure, including an executive compensation manager, an executive
compensation consultant, a proxy voting solicitor, and
a moderator, each from different organizations. Together,
these people constitute the backbone of putting together the proxy
materials for a typical company. This program will be
an in-depth look into how these roles work together in a checks and balances
approach and discuss topics surrounding the latest disclosures, including
e-proxy reporting, changes in compensation programs as a
result of the disclosures, and investor activism.
