With the past year's market fluctuations, the importance of your
employees understanding their retirement
benefits -- and how
much they'll really need to retire -- may have never been greater.
Are your Baby Boomers Retirement Ready? Do your Gen Y's understand their
plan options and asset allocation? Is your company doing everything is
can to help all your employees makes the best decisions for their
retirement plans?
The first part of this program will help you understand all the moving
parts that go into creating a "modern" retirement plan: understanding plan
options, asset classes and risk assessments. We'll also discuss the shift
away from retiree medical benefits and pension plans, and the place of
Social Security/Medicare in retirement planning. Once the building blocks
are set, we'll move into understanding how retirement planning is viewed
by different generations, and how you can best communicate with 4
generations in the work place. We'll give specific project examples of how
other companies have communicated their retirement plan options, and
discuss how and why their communications methods were chosen.
We'll also look at how you can take your employee education a step
further, and the impact personalized communication can have on helping
employees understand their retirement savings.
