The PEBA LISTSERV

Listserv subscribers must read and agree to the PEBA Terms of Use Policy before using this service.

The PEBA email discussion group (listserv) is a free service to all PEBA members. The listserv mailing list is simply a list of e-mail addresses of people interested in a common subject. The lists can involve as few as two people or a thousand. The listserv allows members to ask benefits and compensation related questions to other subscribers. Members subscribe to the listserv by following the instructions below. Questions are sent via email to other subscribers. Members may choose to reply to a question, follow a discussion, or send their own thought-provoking question.

Subscribers have the option of viewing the email questions as they come in or receiving them in digest form the next time they log on their computer.

PEBA currently offers 2 different listserv options.
1. A general PEBA group for any HR professional.
Address: mail@peba.org
2. International benefits, compensation and expatriate group listserv.
Address: intmail@peba.org

There are two ways to subscribe:

1. Internet -(recommended)

Notice to all users:  This forum is intended for networking and sharing, not solicitations by providers and vendors.  Please refrain from any solicitations in the future.

Go to http://pop3.bee.net:81/guest/RemoteListSummary/PEBA_Member_Maillist and click on the "mailing list directory" button.  Click on M for general or I for international in the alpha index and choose the PEBA list. Select whether you want immediate delivery or digest. Fill in the form with your email address and submit.

2. Email

Simply send an email to: peba@peba.org. Be sure to include your email address.
You will, by default, get your mail list messages via immediate delivery. If you wish to get your mail list messages in digest form, follow the directions above.

Sending Email Questions:
Once you subscribe to the listserv you can start sending questions. Simply type in the listserv address (mail@peba.org or intmail@peba.org) and then follow your regular email protocol.

Responding to Email Questions:
Generally, clicking the "reply" button will send your response directly to the sender. Clicking "reply all" (or the equivalent button on your email system) will send your message to the entire listserv.

Listserv Rules and Policies:

1. This listserv is provided as a service of the Penjerdel Employee Benefits and Compensation Association. PEBA accepts no responsibility for the opinions and information posted on this site by others. PEBA does not actively monitor the site for inappropriate postings and does not on its own undertake editorial control of postings. However, in the event that any inappropriate posting is brought to PEBA's attention, PEBA will take all appropriate action.

2. You must be a PEBA member to use either listserv.

3. Listserv subscribers must read and agree to the PEBA Terms of Use Policy before using this service.

4. Selling and marketing on the listserv are not permissible.

5. Use caution when discussing products. Information posted on the listserv is available for all to see and comments are subject to libel, slander and antitrust laws.

6. Do not discuss salaries or price structures on the listserv.

7. Refrain from using the list serv to post open positions or resumes. Employers should use the PEBA PEBA Job Board to post position announcements.

8. PEBA reserves the right to restrict or terminate listserv access to any user who does not abide by these guidelines.
