Course Overview
This intermediate-level, two-day course provides an in-depth
discussion of the principles, design, administration, and
evaluation of an employee base pay program. Exercises will show
you how to resolve differences between a job's internal worth
and market data, helping you to design a base pay program that
is fair and competitive, while supporting your organization’s
compensation strategy. On the third morning, an optional
certification exam covers the content of this course.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for emerging compensation professionals
with limited experience in developing pay structures. You’ll
benefit most from this course if you have mastered the concepts
presented in WorldatWork courses T1, T3, C1 and C2. You should
also know basic mathematical concepts such as mean, median,
weighted average, compa-ratio, percentiles, and calculating
percents, as well as the concept of regression analysis.
